Orlando`s testimony
I have to say that I have gratitude for my year at CDC, for all that
took place. I have two words to describe it:
First is forgiveness- forgiveness for my past resentments, for my
past life and all those involved in it.
Second is prayer- I wasn`t much of a man of prayer before I came to CDC
from Canada, but prayer has been very evident at CDC and it has meant
a lot to me. Prayer is what got me to the school since I didn`t want
to go. Now I feel much more at ease and I feel a new freedom. All that was
in my past has been dealt with and it only could have come about by
coming to New Zealand and going to CDC. It has been a real blessing
for me.

Sharon`s testimony
Ephesians 4:29 - 32 sums up my year at CDC - it is about forgiveness and
letting go of bitterness and anger. Even though I had a prayer life at
home and thought that I had pretty good control of my life, I was not
letting God take control of my life and that is what I needed to see.
I kept myself busy at home so I didn`t have to face myself. When I
came to CDC I had to slow down and take a good look at myself. Before
CDC I only let people see the outside of me, happy and strong, always
there for others, while inside I was crying and hurting. I knew that I
had 10 months to give my time to God and had to surrender my control.
I had to learn to let go and keep my eyes on Jesus. It was such a
freeing experience and I felt so much more confident and happier, this
time from the inside out. My year at CDC also opened my mind to so
many new experiences and I met so many new friends. I would have to
say that it was the hardest year but the best year of my life and I
wouldn`t have missed it for anything. God Bless. Sharon Koch
